It is with deep disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the 2024 Europe Triathlon Youth Championships Festival Panevėžys. Regrettably, unforeseen circumstances have led to this decision, casting a shadow over what was anticipated to be an exciting event for young athletes across Europe.

Renato Bertrandi, the President of Europe Triathlon, expressed his regret, stating, “It is with great regret that we have been informed that our Youth Festival, due to take place in Panevėžys, has been cancelled. The race was scheduled for the first weekend of August. We are strongly committed to staging the Youth Festival as it is one of the most important and strategic events in our calendar, and we would be extremely grateful if some National Federations could help us to solve this problem with such short notice.”

Despite this setback, Europe Triathlon remains committed to providing opportunities for youth development and competition. Efforts will be made to explore alternative solutions and rescheduling options for the Youth Championships Festival in the future.
