Dutch Triathlon Bond allows the Holtense Triathlon organization to organize the National Championship Triathlon Olympic Distance 2010

Tuesday March 11, 2008 was the day of the event presentation of the 24th Premium Continental Cup Holten Triathlon 2008. During the presentation the new EC 2009 logo was presented and there was an announcement that the 2010 Dutch Championships Triathlon takes place in Holten.

The triathlon on June 28th, 2008 will be the general repetition for the EC 2009. Particularly the courses are going to be optimized. The most important change is the change of the swim course. This change of the swim course was one of the demands from the European Bond for the allowance of the EC. The swim will take place in an artificial lake nearby Holten.
Another change will be the finish area. Because of the change there will be more space for the grandstands and there is more space behind the finish to accommodate the athletes.

The Dutch Triathlon Bond knows that the organization of the Triathlon Holten has the experience to organize a top event over a number of years. And that’s why in 2010 the Holten Triathlon foundation is granted to organize the National Championships. The organization will serve her ambition and will also in 2010 take the challenge to organize an European Premium Cup event.
