Europe Triathlon

ETU is committed to providing support for the development of triathlon and multisports within the region. We hold training courses for technical officials, coaches and event organisers as well as hosting training and development camps. Wherever possible we will also promote events that are taking place in and around the region so as to encourage participation at a variety of levels.

If you would like to experience great hospitality, race in warm summer conditions in seas that are 220C over the Sprint Distance then book your trip on 16th and 17th August to Elazığ and join in the fun at the Balkan GrandPrix.

The LOC has races for Youth, Junior and Elite categories. Elite and Juniors will race the Sprint Distance and for the Youths there will be a super sprint distance of 375m swim, 10 km bike and 2.5 km run.  The Turkish Triathlon Federation and the Governorship of Elazığ will cover the costs of return air travel (Istanbul to Elazığ and Elazığ to Istanbul) for maximum 12 persons (10 Athlete, 1 Coach, 1 Team Leader) from each Balkan Countries.

Flight Programme
For flights provided by Turkish Triathlon Federation and Governorship of Elazığ:

Outward flight = Saturday 16th August
Istanbul Atatürk Airport (European Side) – Elazığ Airport.  Departing 09:40 and arrives 11:25

Return Flight = Monday 18th August ONUR AIR.
Elazığ – Istanbul Atatürk Airport (European Side). Departing 02:50 and arrives 04:35

Free transportation will be provided from Elazığ Airport to Hotels by the Turkish Triathlon Federation and Governorship of Elazığ.

The accommodation fee for maximum 12 persons (10 Athlete, 1 Coach, 1 Team Leader) from each Balkan Countries in full board basis double room for 2 nights will be covered from Turkish Triathlon Federation and Governorship of Elazığ.

There will be prize Money for all categories; men/ women 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
