Antonioli picks up second series win in Oberstaufen

Italy’s Daniel Antonioli has won his second Winter Triathlon European Cup of 2012 with victory in Oberstaufen yesterday.

Antonioli was in commanding form to finish in 1:01:31 and claim his third straight podium, confirming his status as one of the most consistent athletes on the Winter circuit.

Jon Erguin (ESP) finished second ahead of Alberto Comazzi (ITA) in the Elite Men’s race.

Renate Forstner (GER) was victorious on home soil in the Women’s Elite race in a time of 1:17:38.

She led home a German 1-2-3, with Lena Berlinger and Regina Genser completing the podium.
